This policy explains how BetExpert.co.za researches, writes, reviews and corrects its content.
Independence
Editorial decisions are made by BetExpert.co.za. An operator, affiliate network or advertiser may provide factual information, but it cannot purchase a rating, edit our conclusions or require us to omit material drawbacks.
Commercial relationships are kept separate from editorial assessment. We may earn revenue from qualifying affiliate referrals. A commercial relationship does not make a bookmaker licensed, safe, suitable or recommended.
Source hierarchy
We prefer evidence in this order:
- South African regulatory sources, including the National Gambling Board and the applicable Provincial Licensing Authority.
- The operator’s official South African website, promotion terms, account rules and help centre.
- Direct product checks performed on the official website or app.
- Reputable secondary reporting when a first-party source is unavailable, clearly identified as secondary evidence.
Search snippets, old screenshots, unsourced comparison tables and affiliate-network marketing copy are not sufficient evidence for current licence or offer claims.
Bookmaker reviews
Reviews must record the operator identity, official domain, applicable licence evidence, product scope, payments, verification process, support, mobile experience and responsible-gambling controls. Reviewers must distinguish facts from opinion and date evidence that can change.
Bonuses and promotions
A promotion is listed as active only after its official landing page and full terms have been checked. We record the headline value, minimum deposit, wagering requirement, qualifying odds, claim and use periods, important exclusions, eligibility and last verification date.

Betting tips and results
