BetOlimp is a South African sportsbook and gaming site operated by OLIMP (Pty) Ltd. Its current public terms identify the legal company and Western Cape licence, set out FICA and withdrawal rules, and support a fully itemised sports welcome offer. This is a source-checked, unscored review pending registration, payment, support and safer-gambling tests.

Quick verdict

BetOlimp has the strongest documentary position in this release batch. The current National Gambling Board row and the operator’s terms align on licence 10138042-020. The terms also specify a R50 online withdrawal minimum, a first-business-day transfer rule after approval and deposit-play requirements. Its sports welcome promotion has enough current detail to publish, but its 6x bonus plus 1x deposit turnover and seven-day deadline deserve attention.

Legal identity and licence

The terms identify OLIMP (Pty) Ltd, registration number 2007/024997/07, trading as BetOlimp. They state that the company is licensed by the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board under number 10138042-020, issued 26 November 2025. The current NGB verified-operators register lists Olimp (Pty) Ltd t/a BetOlimp with the same licence number and a 120 Loop Street, Cape Town address.

That alignment is useful public evidence, but it is not a funded-account test or a guarantee of a particular transaction. BetExpert will still capture the contracting entity shown during registration and on payment records.

Eligibility and verification

The terms restrict accounts to natural persons aged 18 or older and exclude people who are barred from gambling. BetOlimp may request identity and address evidence and may suspend or close an account where required verification is not obtained or where money-laundering concerns arise. Customers must use accurate personal and banking details.

BetExpert has not yet measured the registration flow, document-upload reliability, source-of-funds questions or response time after a failed verification. Those checks remain prerequisites for a trust and payments score.

Sportsbook and product range

The live site carries pre-match and in-play sports, including soccer, basketball, tennis, cricket, rugby, esports and other markets. It also links casino products. Bet Boost and tournament shortcuts are visible in the current sports interface. The welcome promotion is specifically a sports route; casino promotions should be treated separately.

The review has not yet compared odds margins, event coverage, market depth, bet-builder behaviour, cash out, maximum stakes, live acceptance delay, settlement or mobile accessibility. Product presence is recorded without turning it into a quality claim.

Deposits, play-through and withdrawals

The terms permit deposits to a player account and restrict card deposits to the named cardholder, subject to the stated rules. They reserve a possible 5% administration fee on credit-card deposits. BetOlimp says at least 25% of an ordinary deposit must be staked before a withdrawal can be processed; 1Voucher and OTT voucher value must be staked in full. Refund handling may attract a 10% administration charge, and the public wording says voucher refunds will not be considered.

After confirming that the requested amount is available, BetOlimp says it will instruct the electronic transfer on the first business day. The terms refer to a 24-hour processing period but exclude the additional time before the money reaches the nominated bank account. The minimum online withdrawal is R50. Payment must be tested to distinguish operator approval, transfer instruction and bank reflection.

Sports welcome bonus

The current official terms offer a 100% first-deposit match up to R3,000. New customers must deposit at least R50 within 14 days of opening the account. The listed accepted methods are SID, debit or credit card, and 1Voucher. The bonus may take up to 24 hours to be credited and customers are directed to live chat if it does not arrive.

To withdraw bonus-derived value, customers must wager the bonus six times and the initial deposit once within seven days. Only qualifying sports singles count, and every selection must be priced at 2.00 or higher. The maximum stake from the bonus balance is R500 per selection. Lucky Numbers, system bets, BetGames, slots, casino and non-sports products do not qualify. The published maximum winnings from the bonus are R10,000.

The offer is one per person, family, household, email address, phone number, payment card, IP address and shared computer. A customer cannot use it alongside another bonus or while a withdrawal is pending. BetExpert publishes these constraints beside the headline and schedules a weekly recapture.

Support and safer gambling

The terms provide [email protected] for payment exceptions, while the site offers live chat and support routes. The footer links responsible-gambling information, the National Responsible Gambling Programme and WCGRB documents. The customer journey still needs a timed support test and checks for deposit limits, time-outs, self-exclusion and marketing suppression.
